- Major Responsive Grants (only for organizations invited to submit a full application): the full application due date is July 10, 2017.
- Small Responsive Grants: next application due date is September 1, 2017.
- Family Law Major Grants: next Letter of Intent due date is October 2, 2017.
The Foundation is committed to meeting community needs including the needs of the Francophone community. Applicants can communicate in French during the grants process and will receive direct French language services during this process.

Access to Justice Fund and cy-près
The Access to Justice Fund is a national granting program that benefits people across Canada. This Fund receives proceeds of class action lawsuits where judges have awarded some of the proceeds to the LFO through cy-près awards.
Responsive Grants Program
The Responsive Grants program enables the Foundation to fund ideas generated by nonprofit community groups to improve access to justice. Each year the program includes one round of major grants (up to $100,000) and two rounds of small grants (up to $15,000).
Community Leadership in Justice Fellowships
Community Leadership in Justice Fellows are leading experts and innovators from public interest organizations. Each Fellow spends an extended period in residence at an Ontario law school or other post-secondary institution. They research, teach, and carry out other activities focused on access to justice.
